Naive Vivaldi Complete Edition

Sergio Azzolini blows away everything we think we know about baroque bassoon music, in every imaginable way. Antonio Vivaldi's Bassoon Concertos are among the most challenging works of the entire repertoire for the instrument. Azzolini approaches them with virtuoso composure, demonstrating the beauty and complexity of these works. For several years now, the label naïve have been pursuing the project of an historically informed edition of Vivaldi's complete works. Azzolini is responsible for the bassoon part. With this the fourth volume, 26 of the 37 extant solo concertos have now been recorded.
